WELCOME TO THE HEART OF THE BEAUTIFUL CANADIAN ROCKIES!
Banff, Alberta, Canada has been an international tourist destination since the late 1800's and has been visited by most of the world's dignitaries, including kings, queens and also by many of the world’s most rich and famous. The lifestyle in the environs of Banff National Park, Canada's first National Park, offers vacation homeowners the opportunity to live in perfect balance with nature.
A number of years ago, the Canadian government passed legislation stipulating that anyone could purchase property in a Canadian National Park. However, all homes within the parks are built on leased land for a predetermined amount of time. This used to be a period of ninety-nine years and has since been reduced to less than half of that time due to fears of over development.
The spirit of this legislation was that Canada's Parks belonged to all Canadians. As a further restriction, this legislation included a "need to reside clause", which means that all park residents must be employed within a National Park of Canada in order to actually live in the park, regardless of whether or not they are the property owners.

The Best of Canadian National Park Lifestyle, Plus Full Title Ownership
Canmore, Alberta, Canada’s hidden " jewel”, is located just two kilometers east of the Banff National Park gates. Purchasers of homes here are allowed full title ownership of both property and land, without any government restrictions or legislations, such as those that exist within the Parks.

The pristine wilderness and wildlife of Canmore, is a photographers dream come true. The recreational opportunities are endless for the world’s truly adventuresome spirits. For those who prefer to just relax, Canmore offers the tranquility of the natural surroundings and many spas. A person can go from climbing a mountain or golfing on one of Canmore’s three magnificent courses, to the soothing fingers of a gentle massage, all in the same day.
In 1988, Canmore hosted the Nordic events of that year's Winter Olympics which put Canmore on the global map. Since then, Canmore has experienced major growth in primarily recreational luxury property. As an international resort mountain community, Canmore’s real estate prices are roughly half that of comparable vacation home destinations around the world, and this represents tremendous value.
Take a few moments to watch this magnificent video and experience the splendor of Canada’s Rocky Mountain luxury real estate.
